Great course with practical strategies you can use in the classroom. Lots of excellent resources - all well-explained. I highly recommend this course for anyone looking for ways to engage students in meaningful learning opportunities.

This course gave a lot of great information to think about regarding how to assess virtual student learning. I love that Ms. Razz focused on four tech tools and explained the features of each. It definitely helps to see the features without just being thrown into it, so to speak. This self-paced course was broken into helpful segments that allowed me to easily fit it into my schedule. I am looking forward to completing the other courses in The Teacher Prep Room!

Worth every minute and every penny!

Our district will be going to 1 to 1 chromebooks and implementing a DINB seems like a natural fit. There are a bunch of templates out there, but this SHOWS you how to do things, which I needed!

Excellent course! It is step by step easy for beginners of all ages. You will be creating a page or two even a whole notebook by the time you finish the course.

I have taken courses with the Teacher Prep Room before and was very satisfied with the content. This summer's courses did not disappoint! I love how I had to use a unit menu to learn how to develop a unit menu! It was a fun course and I know I will be using many of the strategies this upcoming school year.

What better way to learn about student choice then by experiencing it through this course. A well thought out, informative course that provides practical ideas for implementing Unit Menus. Not only do you learn all about Unit Menus but you get to experience one first hand. Perfect!

This was an incredibly well organized PD offering for a complex and inspiring topic. So many great resources and so well explained! The learn by doing aspect of the unit menus you provided were invaluable. Best value per dollar on PD I've ever spent!

The course is a great start point for those who, like me, have been playing with the idea of flipping the class but haven't tried yet.

The course was very informative and provided a lot of materials to allow me to prep for flipping my classroom as well as preparing my students. Information and presented examples were relatable at the high school level. I find most PD's do not have relevant examples. The ideas were thoroughly explained and presented using multiple tech tools available. There were also several ideas to ensure student engagement and accountability that I will be using this year.

Thank you so much for developing and sharing this course. I was a little skeptical because often teacher professional development is less than engaging and applicable. I found every moment interesting and learned much more than I thought I would in the course! The step-by-step explanations along with introducing new tools (LOVE Tarsia and StickerMule!) made me feel supported and excited to begin. Thank you! I will use this information and the tools for my classroom this year and for many years to come.

I have toyed with the idea of flipping my chemistry class for years, but had a lot of concerns. Karen addresses the major concerns (I don't have time, how to get student/parent buy-in, what will I do in class instead) and gives you tools, templates, and ideas to empower you to flip like an expert! By the end of the course, I made my first flipped video and ready to start my next one.

Taking this course was such a great decision. It has giving me a new prospective to assessing my students. My biggest struggle in the spring was having students just google answer sheets and copy and paste responses. I now have many ideas and tools that I can use to help students shy away from the "just get through it" mentality. I enjoyed the course and I can wait to see what's next! I have learned so much and I am excited to hit the ground running this fall. :)
