I'm rarely absent from school, but when I am, my students certainly notice! That's why I try my best to incorporate these four tips into every sub plan I write. In this week's video I will share four characteristics of sub plans that encourage my students to engage with the content even when I am out of school. However, I know for many teachers it's not always possible to plan as thoughtful of a subplan because emergencies happen that leave you will little time to actually plan for your absence. Don't worry though, I'll address this issue as well.
