This year, more than any other year since I started teaching, it seems that if the work doesn't get done in class, it won't get done at home. It seems that for many students, homework is taking a backseat to many of the activities and commitments made outside of school. I've tried a lot of different strategies to encourage students to complete their homework, and as I'm sure you know, some are more effective than others. In this video, I share the top three strategies that have resulted in increased assignment compliance in my classroom. As always, please share any strategies that are working well for you.
