The first marking period is wrapping up, and that means it's time to prep for parent conferences. Fortunately, the conference prep will be similar, but attendance to the actual conference certainly has a new twist. As soon as I heard in-person or virtual was an option, I'll be honest, I was pretty nervous. It brought back memories to when I had students both in class and online last year. My primary concern was about being on time and attentive to each conference so it wasn't overshadowed by anxiety of transitioning between each appointment. Naturally, I had to make some changes to my organization and preparedness. In this week's video I'll share what those changes were and how it went. Spoiler alert - with a few tweaks, it wasn't as bad as I thought!
